2016 SAWBONES

93 pts

“Opaque ruby. Spicy, exotically perfumed aromas of cherry liqueur, cassis, vanilla and candied violet are complemented by a smoky mineral nuance. Sappy, sweet and expansive in the mouth, offering deeply pitched cherry-vanilla, dark berries and mocha flavors that show excellent concentration. The vanilla note carries through a long, seamless finish that shows just a touch of fine-grained tannins.”

WHAT THE CRITICS HAVE TO SAY . . . .

The Paso Robles “A” List Grows

“These latest releases from Jada put their foot firmly on the power and richness pedal and deliver inky, mouthfilling, fruit-loaded profiles . . . “

JEB DUNNUCK, Editor & Wine Critic, JEBDUNNUCK.COM

"Paso Robles is currently one of the hottest regions in California, and it’s not just the weather. While there were just a relative handful of highly ambitious wineries here at the turn of the century, that number has been growing steadily . . . [Established] producers such as Adelaida, Lone Madrone, Halter Ranch and Jada have significantly stepped up their games and must now be counted among the Central Coast’s best wineries. The region’s burgeoning wine scene can only mean increased pressure on all producers in the area to keep up with a growing number of leaders, which is excellent news for everybody, especially consumers."

JOSH RAYNOLDS, Editor & Wine Critic, VINOUS

“But it’s the new wineries, or newly revitalized ones, that have really caught my eye: outstanding among them are Jada . . .”

STEVE HEIMOFF, former West Coast editor of WINE ENTHUSIAST MAGAZINE

“Paso is Rhone territory...But there’s some brilliant Cabernets out there from . . . Jada and a few others. #seriouswines”

JEB DUNNUCK, former Writer & Wine Critic for ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE
