The nose is outstanding - Dark fruit with light herbs & bright acidity. Plum, black cherry, Sweet tobacco and prune make this a full complete mouth feel. The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness with round tannins and pureness of fruit. The wines were basket Pressed and barrel aged for roughly six months prior to blending. Once blended the wines were returned to barrel and aged for an additional 12 month s in 100% French Oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered in August.
